What we collect

MUDDO does not ask for your name, email address or payment details. There is no account to create, no newsletter, no comment form and no checkout. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics 4 records pseudonymous usage data as described below. If you contact us or follow a link to another service, that service's privacy policy applies.

Analytics

With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which free guides are read and whether visits come from Pinterest or Google Search. It may collect the page URL and title, referrer, approximate location, device and browser details, language, campaign parameters such as UTM tags, and events such as a guide view or a file download.

We do not send your name, email address, payment details or the contents of a downloaded guide to Google Analytics. We configure advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation as denied, and we do not use analytics to build advertising profiles.

Google processes this data on our behalf and may transfer it outside your country. Read the Google privacy policy.

Cookies

MUDDO does not set advertising cookies. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics 4 may set first-party analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish browsers and sessions. These cookies are used for measurement, not advertising.

If you decline analytics, the Google Analytics script is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie.

Your choices

You can allow or decline analytics when prompted, and change your choice at any time. Withdrawing consent disables Google Analytics for future page views and removes the analytics cookies we can access. Data already collected may remain in aggregate reports.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, or use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

External links

Our guides link to official tourism sites, ticket pages, Pinterest and other third-party resources. Once you leave MUDDO, those sites handle your data under their own policies.
